I cant go back to sleep. I'm actually not worried about NOLA or anything (thanks effexor) I just cant get comfy.

Soooo, Mario and I are in Lafayette staying with our friend Sephra and her mama. They are so nice for letting us stay here. Star is here too! Which makes me happy due to the fact I could never live without my awesome puppy. She's now Wodie's (Sephra's dog) older lady friend. Thank god they get alone.

Saturday school was closed early and so I went to Mario's and hung out with everyone who had come in for his birthday the night before. The lafayette people decided to go home because of the storm, but Mario was being himself and didn't wanna go. Well, here we are so I guess I won. We went drinking on 'the strip' after we got here. I got to meet some of his old friends he always talks about. Good to put a face with a name. I woke up feeling shitty and gross. Ben was here when I woke up too. Sephra and I went to Sallys so I could get a razor and cut her hair. It looks pretty good...she's happy. Her mom made a huge pot of spagette for us. We watched Team America and it was so ridiculously funny. Then Mario took me to the ER. I go to the free mental health center in Metry so when I realized hey no more pills the pharmacy was closed due to the weekend. Usually I would jsut wait till Monday, but there may not be a monday for NOLA. I was starting to feel withdrawls so we figured it was best just to get there and get a perscription. Which they gave me very easily. I guess not too many people go to the hospital for an effexor hook up. Some kid in the waiting room had gotten malled by a dog. Oh it was sick. Then we came home....started to watch sin city and fell asleep.

I talked to my mom a bit ago. She's in the airport at home. She's safe and all, but the wind outside was loud. Yeah, crazy lady went outside under an overhang to let me hear it. She said she doesnt' know if they will let people go home after this is over. I guess that means we'll go to Mario's moms and stay for a while. Eh joy!

The Parish is probably no longer....

Ok I admit I am worried....but those I care about are safe and all my stuff is just material items...

Oh yeah Mike....you're a dumb ass and if there is egg on my car I'm kicking your ass. Have fun rebuilding the steps.
